How Averages Are Calculated

Understand Copero's OVR, position weighting, development curve and final career rating system.

Starting overall and position weighting

Your starting overall (OVR) is built from six core attributes selected in the legend draft: pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physical. Each position gives those attributes a different weight.

Skill moves and weak foot add extra value, but they do not replace the core numbers. Starting OVR describes the player's initial ceiling and is not a promise of the final career outcome.

Season form and league intensity

Every season compares the player's current OVR with the strength of the league. The gap affects minutes, goals, assists and the season rating, as well as the role you receive inside the team.

League strength also shapes standings, domestic titles and continental qualification. Consistent performances at a demanding level usually carry more career value than inflated numbers in a weaker environment.

Growth, decline and market value

Young players move toward their potential over several seasons. A strong campaign can accelerate development, while poor form may slow progress and reduce the room left to improve.

As age increases, the player moves through a peak and decline phase. Attributes and market value change with that curve, and the simulation continues until the game's maximum retirement age.

Legacy and final career rating

The final rating is not based on OVR alone. Goals, assists, appearances, international experience, league titles, continental trophies, World Cups and individual awards all contribute to the historical record.

Copero places each career in a tier ranging from an ordinary professional to a legendary or phenomenal player. The highest tiers require sustained numbers and rare, meaningful honours.
